Ebola is a serious and dramatic viral disease

caused by a virus, namely ebolavirus (EBOV). It doesn’t exist only a type of Ebola virus, but many. The disease is also called Ebola Emorragic Fever (EHF), because of its symptoms, but it is also simply named Ebola. Ebola viruses were discovered in 1976, during two outbreaks burst in the tropical regions of Africa. Since then, Ebola outbreaks have been more and more frequent, up to this day. Currently, in the following African States, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, the Ebola deaths have been nearly 5,000, with almost 10,000 suspected cases. Despite all information about Ebola, in the world, many people still don’t know the real causes of that disease, and other information about symptoms and transmission ways. Everybody knows that Ebola spreads through body fluids or by touching contaminated items or ignoring the normal hygienic rules, such as washing hands with water and soap after touching suspected or contaminated people or things and wearing protective clothes during the health treatments of patients affected by Ebola. But there is a big mystery about spreading of Ebola that gave rise to many questions: Why is Ebola particularly spread in Africa? And more: Why is Ebola arriving also in Europe and America? Why did the world governments forget simple checks that would prevent to spread the disease? As you can see, the questions are too many to be satisfied only by paper or blog articles. To allow you to understand better the causes, symptoms and other unknown reasons about Ebola, Advicesbooks has selected some books for you. We have ignored the books which avoid to deepen the issue about Ebola and we have only focused on the ones that are able to answer some questions about this unsettling outbreak. One of the books we have selected is titled Spillover, by David Quanmen, author of science writing who explains the mechanism of spread of diseases and virus mutations from animals to human beings. This mechanism is just called “Spillover”, which is also the title of the book. Another useful book we have chosen for you is titled The Coming Plague: Newly Emerging Diseases in a World Out of Balance, by Laurie Garrett. The book is a fifty year journey around environmental conditions that have fostered the spread of dangerous viral diseases like Ebola. If you want, you may buy the books suggested by Advicesbooks at the links listed below: Spillover: Animal Infections and the Next Human Pandemic
